TradeKing will credit your account transfer fees up to $150 charged by another brokerage firm when completing an account transfer for $2,500 or more. Offer applies to new non retirement accounts funding for the first time. Credit will be deposited to your account within 30 days of receipt of evidence of charge. TradeKing is advertising $4.95 commissions on stock trades and $0.65 per option contract.

 

Scottrade

The best deal from Scottrade is their commission structure with commissions as low as $7 per stock trade. Scottrade also offers the convenience of 358 branch offices throughout the US to offer customer service not available with many online brokers.

 

TD Ameritrade

TD Ameritrade

TD Ameritrade was running a 5.30% APY savings account special rate for new customers earlier in 2008 which has now expired. Their current promotion is a $100 cash bonus and 30 days of free trading for new accounts opened before December 31, 2008 with at least $25,000 and a $500 cash bonus for rolling over an old 401K account. TD Ameritrade also has over 100 local branches to service accounts.

 

ING Direct

Charles Schwab

Charles Schwab customers are eligible for a 2.01% APY savings account at Charles Schwab Bank with no ATM fees. Free standard checks, free bill pay, and a VISA Platinum Check Card are included. Schwab Bank High Yield Investor Checking accounts are FDIC-insured to $100,000 per depositor. Charles Schwab offers commissions as low as $12.95 for online equity trades and $0 for no-load mutual funds.

 

E*Trade Securities

E*Trade has a 3.30% savings account through their FDIC-insured bank that can be linked to customers E*Trade brokerage account. The savings account comes with no minimums, no account fees, and free one-click transfers to and from any institution. E*Trade Financial's online brokerage have commissions as low as $6.99 to $9.99 for acccounts with $50,000 in net equity are also available.

 

SOGOTRADE

SOGOTRADE is offering 100 free trades for new accounts for 30 days for qualified accounts as well as a $3.00 commission standard plan and a $1.50 commission premium plan for qualified investors.

 

Fidelity Investments

Fidelity Investments will reward customers who roll over a 401K or IRA to Fidelity with one year's worth of free trades.

  • Offer valid for Rollover IRA, Traditional IRA, Inherited IRA, Roth IRA, and SEP-IRA accounts only.
  • Commission-free trades must be designated to the one account receiving the qualifying assets.
  • The commission-free trades are limited to only online domestic equity trades, with a limit of 1,000 shares or less per trade, and do not include extended hours orders, directed orders, futures, or options.
